If you do not drive your personal vehicle for business can the employer require you to provide proof of auto insurance and driver's license?

Good question. No he cannot. However, refusal is mighty suspicious-looking. Employer will distrust you and this may have negative consequences for you in future -- promotions, pay raises, bonus arrangements etc.Perhaps he has some idea for extra earnings opportunity for you if you use your own vehicle, but has not firmed up his thinking enough to divulge his idea to you.Why invite disaster ?
