Honda civic doesn't moveThe transmission can be broken inside, or one of the drive shafts can be. The power will go to the least resistance and if one axle is borken or the splines are stripped where it goes thru the wheel assembly the speedometer will work, but you will not move. There should be a fair amount of noise coming form one side of the car. Probably a CV joint. Has the front end been making a popping sound, especially when you've been going around corners? If it has, that's a clue. But even if it hasn't, it's probably a CV joint.
