Ben got into a fight with his girlfriend Robin. He confronted her cheating on him and in a crime of passion keyed hoe on her car. I realize this is property damage but will there be jail time involved. The ex girlfriend Robin is trying to blackmail Ben into paying her 2500.00 for a car worth 500.00. Ben also keyed the guy's car Robin was with and he has already filed charges. What can Ben do to protect himself?
