Name of former Fox series set in Newport beach?
The O.C. is the name of the television series that originally aired on the Fox network from August 5, 2003, to February 22, 2007, running a total of four seasons.
Though the series was based in Newport Beach, because of costs, most of the location shooting took place in California's Manhattan Beach area. The series was canceled due to low ratings.
