Question

proof of credit card ownership

Federal Law requires that upon request, creditors must show written proof that the account in question is in fact mine. Written proof is a copy of the contract signed with the original creditor.

The creditor says they don't have to show this. What do I do next?

Re: proof of credit card ownership

File a petition for declaratory judgment seeking costs, expenses and attorneys fees. You can recover attorneys fees.
