Me and my child moved to va from nc about a month and a half ago. So we both still have equal custody over our child until court. About 2 wks ago i let him visit our child he took him back to nc and wont bring him back. We went to mediation but no agreement so waiting on court date. I filed for tanf and got approved i just got my card today but not sure if i should use it. But i did report that i didnt have my child at the moment. Should i use the card or not?

You should double check with the local DSS office where you
applied and were approved for this welfare benefit before you attempt to use it
under the particular circumstances of your case as they now exist at this time
(in my opinion).
