How are CO2 dragsters started?
they are locked into place, directly in front of a pressurised pin. when the timed hits 0 the pin punctures the soft material at then of the canister and the rush of the pressurised CO2 gas trying to reach atmospheric pressure and to escape, propels the craft down the strip.
