Question

What legal recourse do I have against a financier or auto dealer when I am allowed to purchase a vehicle and then told I have to pay more money of bring it back?

Answer

Hire a Lawyer or file a complaint with the State Office of Consumer Credit 800-538-1579

or cut and past this link: http://www.occc.state.tx.us/pages/agency/Index1.html

We usually do or threaten to do those lawsuits under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. Since you may be able to get triple damages and attorneys fees, they often settle the case duing the 60 waiting period after they receive the Lawyer's DTPA demand letter. What kind of proof (evidence, witnesses, papers, etc.) do you have?
