I have a case with my former employer over breaks not given, they have made an offer of $3500 out of the $11,000 I'm asking for, and my brother is telling me i could get up to three times the amount I'm asking for is this true?
Answer
It depends on the facts of your case. It is impossible to tell you how much your case is worth without knowing all the facts. Speak to an employment attorney regarding your situation.
Good luck.
Answer
Call an employment law attorney to discuss. Many of us offer a free initial phone consultation and may be able to help you at no cost to you. An analysis will need to be made as to how many times you were "not given the opportunity" to take your meal period and/or breaks.
