Do I need Seller of Travel for California? If Travel Agency located in other state and promote travel services for out-of-California customers but for traveling into California?
Thank you!
Answer
The law on this is fairly complex. I wasn't aware of it until I saw your question, so I looked it up and tried to educate myself. I'm inclined to say the answer is "yes," but I'm not by any means certain. Maybe you should check with the Attorney General's office, by e-mail or phone, and see if there is a public assistance person who can take a better description of what you're going to be doing, and where, and then give you an informed answer. If in doubt, apply for it.
