I have a court order child custody to share the kids 50/50. If i fell that my kids are being mistreated can my 16 year old son just stay with me or is he bound by the court order to go to her.

Until a new court order is issued, you should comply with the current one. If you have concerns about the treatment that the children are receiving, you should file a Supplemental Petition to modify the current time-sharing arrangement. Your son may be allowed to testify as to his preference.
