Should christians watch the shining?
When you are dealing with entertainment, often times this isgoverned by a Christian's own conscience. Some biblical principlescan be applied like ones found at Deut. 18:10-12 and Gal. 5:19-21where it condemns the practice of contacting the spirits in anyway. One would have to ask themselves if watching a movie such asThe Shining would show that we are interested in suchthings. A careful consideration should be made, because when itcomes to spirit creatures, if we show interest in them, they willshow interest in us. The spirits that communicate with humans inthis way are not following God's direction and have therefore beenlabeled as rebel angels or demons.
