How does exhaust harm the envirorment?
As the fuel we use contains carbon, a product in a combustion process taking place in an engine is Carbon Monoxide (CO). Carbon Monoxide is an odorless, colorless gas which is very harmful to humans and animals. Also, it is a greenhouse gas and therefore is known to contribute to climate change, and it adversely (and possibly irreversibly) affects the environment.
