Question

I have a U.S. Patent. A company has infringed. I can't afford to sue. These are hard times. The retainer alone was more than I have in my bank account. What should I do?

Answer

Find the money and hire an attorney or accept the fact that there will be infringement. You could also offer to sell the patent to them.

If you would like to discuss any issues further, please feel free to contact my office. The link to my contact information is below. Thank you.

Answer

Find the money to hire a lawyer or forget about it. There's not another answer.

Answer

As a Franchise Attorney I agree with the other attorney answers. Your damages for patent infringement can, in certain cases, include attorneys fees. If this applies to the infringement you mention, you may be able to find an attorney that will take your case on a semi-contingency basis. Consult with a good patent or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.

Question

We have owned acreage since 1880. In 1904 there was a lawsuit and some members were stripped of their rights to the property and so were their descendants. The legal judgement states the losing side is subject to the decision of the tribe. The empty houses are subject of the tribe and now descendants of the losing side have moved into an old house and now have 10 or more people on our property and the county and sheriff refuse to help us remove them. They are now building houses here. What as private property owners can we do?

Answer

I think this sounds as if this is on Indian land. I think you need to try to find a specialist in this area.

Who is at fault in a shopping mall parking lot where you are driving forward through the lanes turning left into the drive lane when a car coming from your right hits your right rear end of the ca?
It depends if you pulled out without looking and/or too quickly so as to cut off the car on your right it's your fault. If you were moving very slow and they didnt see you and hit you its their fault. Although.. It is your responsibility as the car NOT in the driving lane to yield to the car IN the driving lane.
