I am remarried. I have 3 kids from my 1st husband. The kids we supposed to be at his house and for his visitation. He took them to his parents house. While he does have not have to tell me everywhere the kids go he did not tell me that they were not with him. We had discussed that they shouldn't be there with his father alone due to his health issues and lack of supervision. Today I get a call from my 15 yr old who was hysterical. His grandfather gave him the keys to the gun cabinet so that he could show his friend a shotgun. When putting the gun back in the cabinet it fell and the gun fired. No one was hurt but the house was damaged. I want to know if I can legally keep the kids from being around their grandfather when he is the only adult at home. He is in his 70's.

You can bring an action seeking to put limitations / restrictions on the father's visitation, but the burden of proof is on you. If you can prove the items you mentioned, then there is a good chance the Court would impose some limitations.
