We have a bill dated 2006 from a collection agency and we do not know if this is our bill. Obviously it is well over time limitations and also there have been no prior notices so I know it is a bill purchased by the collection agency. IF this is my bill:
the bill was for my son 18 at the time
it was put in his name
he was still in school
living with me
partially paid for by my insurance
Where do we stand: I have to go to court by Friday and make a statement about the bill. I requested a copy of the bill and they have not been able to produce an original copy.
