Need to extend USA Stay after baby delivery to have her develop immunity

My H-1 visa 6 year will end after one month of baby delivery. As Need additional time in USA to finish new baby PIO/passport etc also to have baby grow till 3 month to have all vaccination done before going for international flight (India)

What are options I have to stay additional 1-2 months in USA? I heard staying after i94 expiry is not a wise option. How can i stay legally in uSA to finish above mentioned task.

You can try a change of status to B-2, although it might not be successful. Just make sure you do not overstay more than 179 days.
