A seller defaulted on a single family home sale and now refuses to give me my escrow fund back. How can I get the 1,000 from the title co?

Make written demand of the title company to pay within 30 days and you could sue in justice of peace court. But if you had a realtor..push him/her to get the money...And you need to look at your contract, sometimes sellers have clauses permitting the deposit to be kept. but the title company must pay if the contracts are clear
