What makes the brake lights stick on 1999 300?
In most cases the problem lies in the brake light switch which is located above the brake peddle and rests against the brake peddle arm. A 1999 300 you say. Well that could be a BMW, Chrysler, Acura, Nissan, Audi and a host of others. I suggest you find out what your driving so you get the right switch. Most North American cars have assessable under dashes but a few of the Euros and Asian cars may have kick panels that will have to be removed to get at the switch. It's not a tough job and does not normally require any special tools or talents. Just a little patience and common sense.
