Question

I pay for a property security company to provide steel door covering on my vacant property. Someone removed one of their 300lb steel doors, broke in and cut out all of the copper piping, flooded all 3 floors and stole lots of items---including their 300lb door. Can I sue the company?

Answer

You should review their contract or other paperwork that came with the door, or better yet have it reviewed by an attorney. A lot may depend on the representations, warranty (if any), and disclaimers of liability.
