My grandfather passed away and left his house to my dad. My dad recently passed away and had no will, I went to court and got a declaration of heirship. I did not know the house belonged to my dad until I got tax stuff in the mail about it. How do I go about getting the house in my name? And what do I do as far as taxes go?

I need to know how your grandfather left the house to your dad. Was their a will? If so, was it probated? As for the taxes, they will need to be paid, if you (or anyone else) desires to keep the house.
