On 4/18/12 we signed a six month extension on our lease for a single family home in Ocala, FL. On 5/22/12 we were served foreclosure notice. What options do we have as far as terminating the lease prior to expiration. The lease doesn't address early termination for us or the landlord. We would just as soon start looking for a new place now and move as soon as we can.

Do an internet search for "tenants in foreclosure act". The foreclosure may take much longer than the 4 months remaining on the lease. Talk to the landlord.
