Assuming you have worked long enough to otherwise qualify for unemployment compensation benefits, the company would have to prove that you engaged in willful misconduct as that term is defined in the law in order to prevent you from collecting unemployment compenstion benefits. These types of cases are very fact specific, so without knowing more details it would be difficult to give you a better evaluation of the case.

Various employment dicrimination laws prohibit discrimination on account of disability. You may have a claim if the real reason for the termination was a disability, or if you were treated differently on account of a disability. Such discrimination cases must be filed within a relatively short period of time. The PA Human Relations Act requires the filing of a charge of discrimination with the PA Human Relations Commission within 180 days of the alleged discriminatory conduct and the Americans With Disabilities Act requires the filing of a charge with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission within 300 days of the alleged discrimination for cses arising in PA.

You should consult with a lawyer who handles employment cases as soon as possible regarding your situation.
