I was hit by a motorist while riding my bike. I am skeptical that his insurance will fully honor my claim. I am seeking compensation for a new bike. If they don't pay my claim, what should be my next move?

file a complaint in small claims court against the motorist for the value of the bike. Most auto insurance policies have a $500 deductable. I do not know what the value of the bike is but unless it is worth more than $7,000 then go to small claims court.
I also suggest if you have not done so, file a police report about the accident.
