Question

My brother violated his parole and is having a revocation hearing next week. He got caught using a false device to submit a urine analysis and requested the hearing. He has been out since March of last year, what could possibly happen with this hearing? I appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you!!

Answer

If they are having a hearing then they are proceeding to try to revoke his parole. Depending on the way he performed on the balance of his parole, how long he was on, what he is on for, etc., they could revoke his parole and return him to prison or possibly give him a type of "jail therapy" by putting him in for 90 days to 6 months.

He does not get credit for time he was on the street toward his sentence.
