If I am the beneficiary of a real estate property is any other family member, includeing the executor, permititted to live in the property before the estate is settled (no family members currently occupy the dwelling only the decedent had)

Not usually. Is this property in Pennsylvania? If that is the case, the executor's duty is to protect the land but that does not extend to living in the house.
