I was robbed at gun point on April 5th. Now the sheriffs deputy wants me to take a lie detector test. What are my rights? Can I refuse?

You should never take a "lie detector" test in general, but clearly never without an experienced criminal defense attorney present. The "test" is very subjective, and is often a ruse to get you to answer incriminating questions.
