My locked vehicle was recently stolen from the poorly lit parking area in my apartment complex, do I have any legal recourse against the property owner for not providing any type of physical access control or video monitoring of the property?

look at your lease - see if there is a provision as to security in the parking lot - if so, then the complex is responsible
